SOBCON 2008 Update

I entered the SOBCON 2008 contest but according to the recent contest update it looks like there are less than 3 readers who clicked on to the event link to find out more about the conference.
That is just plain sad. I can conclude either that there is no one reading this blog or they are simply not interested about networking events for bloggers.
The winner of the contest gets to attend the event for free plus two night’s hotel stay.
At the rate this is going, I won’t be in Chicago in May.
If you want to help me out, please check out SOBCON 2008.

As you can see, there is quite a bit of activity from GoogleBot and Yahoo Slurp, but MSNbot still doesn't show much love for this site.

RT at Untwisted Vortex Needs Your HelpUpdate: 24 hours after word was out that RT needed help, bloggers helped to raise over $3,000. And RT was even contacted by SkyNews that wanted to do a story about this.

Hock, I went to SOBCon last year. Best Web-related conference I’ve ever attended. If more people only knew who is going to be there and how powerful it’s going to be, they’d be selling their socks right now to go.
Hope to see ya there.
Easton, thanks for your feedback on SOBCON. I certainly hope that I can be there!
